At The Bottega, we are passionate about bringing the authentic taste of Italy directly to your door, or welcoming you to our store in Billericay. We aim to process and dispatch your orders efficiently and securely. Please read our shipping policy carefully to understand our procedures and what to expect.
1. Order Processing Time
- All orders are processed within 2-10 business days (Tuesday - Friday, excluding weekends and public holidays in England).
- Orders placed after 2:00 PM GMT will be processed the following business day.
- During peak seasons (e.g., Christmas, Bank Holidays) or promotional periods, processing times may be slightly longer. We appreciate your patience during these times and will communicate any significant delays.
2. Domestic Shipping (UK)
Currently, we do not offer shipping out from our Local Delivery Area; we'll aim to inform you when this service will be available.
3. Local Delivery or Pickup (Billericay Store)
If you are local to Billericay within 2 miles radius from our store, you can choose to collect your order directly from our store or to have it delivered at your home:
- Address: 74b High Street, Billericay, Essex, UK, CM12 9BS
- Cost: Free
- Pickup Time: Orders are typically ready for collection within 24 hours during our opening hours after you receive your "Ready for Pickup" email.
- Collection Hours: Tuesday - Saturday 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- What to bring: Please bring your order confirmation email (digital or print) and a form of ID.
- Holding Period: Orders will be held for 7 days. If not collected within this period, we will contact you to arrange an alternative or a refund (minus any perishable items).
4. International Shipping
Currently, we do not offer international shipping; we'll aim to inform you when this service will be available.
5. Damages, Lost Packages, and Issues
- Damaged Items: If your order arrives damaged, please contact us immediately (within 24 of delivery) at our Customer Service Email Address - thebottegauk@gmail.com, with your order number and clear photos of the damaged item(s) and packaging. We will assess the damage and work towards a suitable resolution (replacement or refund).
- Lost Packages: If your tracking information shows that your package was delivered but you haven't received it, please check with neighbours. If you still cannot locate it, contact us within 7 days of the reported delivery date. We will open an investigation with the shipping carrier. Please note that investigations can take up to 10 business days.
- Incorrect Address: Please ensure your shipping address is correct at the time of purchase. We are not responsible for orders shipped to incorrectly provided addresses. If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect address, you will be responsible for the re-shipping costs.
